Seizing the opportunity to acquire the rare and unique qk.lc domain while on holiday, TV Cameraman Chris Burton had been planning to launch his own URL Shortening website for some time to enable him to easier share links to his photos and galleries online.

While on the 3 hour journey back home, the dedicated server was setup and the software installed. QK.LC is proudly hosted in Manchester by UKFast.
